Look Like the Business
You Are.
Buyers make a judgement about your business in the first second of seeing it, and they make it on appearance because they have nothing else to go on yet. A weak identity does not just look bad — it quietly costs you the benefit of the doubt on price, on capability, and on whether you are still going to be around next year.
Branding is not a logo. It is a system — colour, typography, imagery, tone and rules for how they combine — that keeps you recognisable and consistent everywhere you appear, from a website to a vehicle wrap to an invoice.

What is included in a brand identity project?
A brand identity project delivers more than a logo: logo variants for different contexts, a colour palette with accessible contrast pairings, a typography system, and written guidelines covering clear space, minimum sizes and misuse. Designie, a Sydney studio, supplies editable vector source files and digital exports, and the client owns the brand outright.
Why It Works
Distinctive, Not Generic
An identity built for your business specifically, not a stock mark with your name set next to it in a popular font.
A Complete System
Logo variants, colour palette, type scale and usage rules — everything needed to stay consistent across every application.
Works Everywhere
Tested at favicon size and at signage size, in colour and in single-colour, on light backgrounds and dark.
Documented Guidelines
Written rules so anyone you hire later — printer, signwriter, agency — applies the brand correctly without asking you.
Identity, Not Just a Logo
A logo on its own does very little work. What makes a brand feel established is consistency — the same colours, the same typefaces, the same tone appearing every time someone encounters you. We deliver an identity system rather than a single file: variants for every context, a palette with accessible contrast pairs already worked out, a typographic scale, and rules covering clear space, minimum sizes and what not to do.
- Logo variants for every practical context and orientation
- Colour palette with contrast-checked combinations
- Typographic hierarchy that holds up in print and on screen
- Clear space, minimum size and misuse rules
Designed for Real Applications
Plenty of logos look excellent in a presentation and fall apart in use — illegible at 16 pixels, unreadable in one colour on a work vehicle, unusable when a printer asks for a vector file nobody has. We design against the real applications from the start and test accordingly: shrunk to favicon size, reduced to single colour, reversed out of dark backgrounds, and placed on the surfaces you will actually put it on.
- Legible from favicon through to signage
- Single-colour and reversed versions included
- Print-ready vector source files supplied
- Digital exports at every size you will need
Branding and Web, Built Together
Because we build websites as well, the identity is designed knowing exactly where it has to live. The colour palette is chosen with web accessibility contrast in mind, the type scale is one that renders well on screen, and the logo has the variants the site header and favicon will need. If we are doing both, the brand and the website ship as one coherent piece of work rather than two projects that have to be reconciled.

Common Questions
Do I get the source files?
Yes. You receive editable vector source files plus exports in every format you are likely to need for print and digital. The brand is yours outright.
How many logo concepts do I see?
We present a considered set of directions rather than a large volume of throwaway options, then refine the direction you choose. Depth on the right idea beats breadth across weak ones.
Can you refresh our existing brand instead of starting over?
Often that is the better call. If you have recognition worth keeping, a refresh modernises the execution while retaining the equity you have built. We will give you an honest view on whether a refresh or a rebuild makes more sense.
Can you do branding and the website together?
Yes, and it usually works out better. The identity gets designed knowing where it has to live, and you avoid the common problem of a brand that looks great in a PDF but was never designed for a screen.
